Reproductive Laboratory Facility – 6,700 SF Advanced Lab Renovation and Fit-Out
We served as the building contractor for a new 6,700 SF reproductive laboratory facility designed to deliver cutting-edge clinical and research capabilities. The project features multiple advanced lab areas outfitted with the latest technology, including first-of-its-kind Roche equipment.
The space also includes a welcoming patient reception area and a well-appointed staff lounge to support comfort and workflow. To ensure continuous, reliable operation, the facility is supported by fully redundant mechanical and electrical systems, maintaining performance even during power interruptions or equipment failures.
Columbia University – Havemeyer Hall, Morningside Campus
Renovation of active chemistry research laboratories within Columbia University’s historic Havemeyer Hall on the Morningside Campus. This project required precise coordination and technical expertise to upgrade laboratory casework, install new high-performance fume hoods, modernize mechanical and ventilation systems, and refresh interior finishes— all while maintaining full campus operations. Our team executed the work in a live research environment, closely aligning construction activities with departmental schedules to ensure safety, minimize disruption, and deliver a state-of-the-art laboratory setting within one of the university’s landmark academic buildings.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center – Rockefeller Research Building
As the building contractor for this project, we completed the full renovation of the 13th floor of MSK’s Rockefeller Research Laboratory building, transforming 15,600 SF into state-of-the-art chemistry, biology, and proteomics laboratories supporting four Principal Investigators. The floor features a centrally located Mass Spectrometry suite with NMR, surrounded by newly built wet and dry labs. The scope also included chemical storage facilities, staff support areas, and administrative space.
To meet the specialized mechanical needs of the Mass Spec equipment, we constructed a new rooftop air-handling unit and integrated it with the building’s existing infrastructure.
This project was delivered as part of a multi-year, phased modernization of multiple floors within the Rockefeller Research Laboratory building.
Medgar Evers College – Lobby Transformation
A $12.9 million renovation of approximately 15,000 sq. ft. across the east and west lobbies of the Bedford Building. The project introduced new cast-in-place vestibules, glass curtain walls, interior reconfigurations, student lounge upgrades. ADA-compliant bathrooms, and refreshed finishes – all designed to enhance flow and campus identity.
Hofstra University – Axinn Library, Recreation Center & Food Court
Renovation and modernization of multiple campus facilities including the library, student rec center, and dining spaces. The scope emphasized accessibility, modernization, and student experience–delivered within an active academic setting and aligned with university milestones.
